Supporting School-Based Induction as a Coach
In our work with Partner Schools, The Teacher Learning Project has used a coaching model. External coaches have worked closely with Induction Leaders to develop their capacity to facilitate ongoing teacher learning. The role of the coach is different than the induction leader. The coach holds a vision of the possible in creating a culture that takes adult learning as seriously as student learning; the coach ensures accountability, provides resources, and engages in collaborative problem solving with the leadership team.
